Novacella abbey
Description
It is a jewel on the road of emperors and pilgrims. The main church is one of the most significant regional examples of the Rococo style. The original Romanesque and Gothic structure was transformed into magnificent Baroque architecture by the renowned Bolzano architect Giuseppe Delai. The Library and Museum house remarkable works by Leonhard of Brixen and Friedrich Pacher, making them particularly noteworthy.
