About us

Our association, the Network of South Tyrol`s Tourist Guides was founded in 2008. A group of German- and Italian-speaking friends came together after completing an extensive training programme of more than 700 hours and a final exam. To increase their visibility, they created a website. Over the last 15 years, more multilingual members have joined, meaning that international guests now also have access to younger, highly committed, multilingual guides.

Our motivation, passion and goal as tourist and tour guides remains to show guests and locals the beauty of South Tyrol in all its many facets. From the church tower at Lake Reschen to the peaks of the Dolomites and the legends of South Tyrol, not to mention the special features of Bolzano, Brixen and Merano, there are exciting stories to be told. Together with our guests, we embark on this exciting and varied journey of discovery throughout South Tyrol.
