Merano
Description
A classic itinerary, Merano is one of the most famous and oldest towns in the Alps, the South Tyrolean 'pearl'.
A spa town, full of flowering gardens and beautiful promenades, it has a medieval heart: the Cathedral of St Nicholas, the nearby chapel of St Barbara, the Church of Santo Spirito, the lively via Portici.
